PV Projects undertook the restoration of Broken Hill Public School, a historic landmark of the town, first opened its doors in April 28th, 1965 by replacing deteriorating timber louvres with modern aluminium ones and installing new Colorbond eaves. The project faced challenges such as a steep slope, double-storey construction, and the need to keep the school operational during renovations. Using 490 lined metres of scaffolding, the team completed the upgrades safely over two school terms—on time and on budget—enhancing safety and functionality while preserving the school’s heritage.
